About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians work as part of the pharmacy team, follow standard operating procedures and best practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment. Once hired, they must complete the company’s training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers complete additional licensing and training, help prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a full-time position with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $17.92–$27.92 per hour. Eligible colleagues receive a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
