About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing compassionate service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe and inclusive team culture. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. The Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are met. Technicians may assist with additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permissible, a Technician Immunizer may prepare and administer vaccines after completing applicable licensure and training, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 21 anticipated weekly hours. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The stated pay range is $20.07 per hour. The position is eligible for certain benefits and programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility, including dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, and access to certain voluntary benefits.
