•$18 - $28

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and effective communication standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until requirements are met. The role may include supporting immunizations and other patient health care services, such as point-of-care testing and offsite clinics, where legally permitted and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers complete additional licensure and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer clinical questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies.
