About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Fills medication carts on a daily basis. Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Repackages bulk medications.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent required.
  • Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician ( CPhT ) or Pharmacy Intern
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
