About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately. Technicians provide caring service, follow Standard Operating Procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture. Technicians must complete the company training program and meet registration, licensing, and certification requirements under applicable State Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Depending on state law and required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and support at offsite clinics. A technician authorized as an immunizer may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine-supply management. This part-time role has 24 anticipated weekly hours. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The listed pay range is $19.40 per hour. Eligible benefits vary based on hours worked and eligibility and may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
