About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while providing caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, applicable laws and policies, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Technicians may provide additional health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, where legally permitted and supported by required training and certification. Where permissible, Technician Immunizers complete additional licensing and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. The role requires regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as needed.
