About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is a 60-bed rehabilitation hospital operated jointly with Lifepoint Health. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The Pharmacy Technician joins a fast-paced team and supports pharmacy operations and patient care. This is a PRN day-shift position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registration in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or Pharmacy Intern status.
• Current CPR certification.
• Passion for helping others and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Fill medication carts daily.
• Prepare orders and maintain pharmacy department inventory.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
