About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. They assist with pharmacy operations across store workstations, follow standard operating procedures and applicable laws, and help create a caring, safe, and inclusive experience for patients and colleagues. Technicians complete company training and satisfy the registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their State Board of Pharmacy; until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Technicians may also provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, when permitted by law and supported by the required training and certification. Where allowed, Technician Immunizers complete additional licensure and training, educate patients about vaccines, refer clinical questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. Eligible part-time colleagues may have access to benefits and programs supporting physical, emotional, and financial well-being, depending on hours worked and eligibility; listed benefits include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits.
