About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After hire, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are completed. Depending on state law and required training and certification, technicians may also provide patient health care services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine-supply management. This is a full-time position with an anticipated 40-hour workweek. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The typical pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
