About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing compassionate service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflows, applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. After starting, Technicians must complete a company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements established by their state Board of Pharmacy. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may also deliver services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic support. Technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, supply management, and adverse-reaction monitoring. This is a part-time position with 24 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $17.00 per hour. Benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, depending on hours worked and eligibility.
