About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. Once hired, technicians must complete the company’s training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Technician immunizer duties can include preparing and administering vaccines, educating patients and referring vaccine questions to the pharmacist, monitoring and responding to adverse reactions, documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of 20 hours per week. The stated base pay range is $18.00–$28.00 per hour; actual pay depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
