Requirements

Must be currently registered in the state of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician
Must have a High School Diploma
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Able to transcribe information and data accurately

Nice To Haves

2 years relevant work experience in a pharmacy
Experience handling pharmacy insurance rejections and billing
Experience in a retail pharmacy environment

Responsibilities

Accurately fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders; counting, pouring, measuring or weighing medication tablets, liquids, and creams; mixing or reconstituting medications as needed; selecting, filling, and labeling prescription containers; and operating scanning equipment and/or automated dispensing systems to ensure prescription accuracy.
Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date.
Analyze and review data for completeness and accuracy of documentation according to specified standards.
