About The Position
PharmScript, part of the Optum family of businesses, is a leading pharmacy partnering with long-term and post-acute care facilities. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Floor Technician department. This role supports the onsite pharmacist in preparing prescription orders for facilities, ensuring pharmacy standards and policies are maintained. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver dedicated to customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Valid NJ Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain it within 60 days

- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
