Responsibilities

• Work as a collaborative team member to meet the service goals of the pharmacy.
• Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and providing quick and efficient service.
• Accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy database to assist with proper billing.
• Maintain a safe pharmacy environment by adhering to health code guidelines and corporate standards.
• Gain working knowledge of all departments: Delivery, Dispensing, Data-Entry, Billing, and reporting to supervisors within those departments.
• Understand pharmacy terminology, including generic and brand name drug names.
• Understand legal requirements for prescriptions.
• Understand Medical Record Information.
