About The Position

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician. This role focuses on providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. While pharmacy experience is not required, it is appreciated. The position offers a work-life balance with evenings and weekends off. Each employee is assigned their own workstation, including desk/chair, computer, and headset, to ensure productivity and organization.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required
• Must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred
• Pharmacy experience is appreciated

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Label and prepare products for patients
• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
• Coordinate patient deliveries
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized
• Complete insurance verification
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable
• Bill and charge credit cards
• Keep patient information up to date
