About The Position

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about patient care. This role offers evenings and weekends off, PTO, and floating holidays. Each employee is assigned their own workstation, including desk/chair, computer, and headset, to ensure productivity and organization. Communication with patients is primarily through the phone, requiring an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken. While pharmacy experience is not required, it is appreciated.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
• Must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service!
• Label and prepare products for patients.
• Process prescriptions using computer software.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Coordinate patient deliveries.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Complete insurance verification.
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
• Bill and charge credit cards.
• Keep patient information up to date.
