About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. The Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties until those requirements are met. Depending on state law, training, and certification, technicians may also support services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Technician immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the pharmacist, respond to and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This full-time position has an anticipated schedule of 40 hours per week and requires regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends. The stated hourly pay range is $16.50–$25.00, with the actual offer dependent on factors including experience, education, and geography.
