About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and serve as an initial point of contact for patients and customers. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, demonstrate genuine care, and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture. After starting, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status and assist with vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and information collection, adverse-reaction response and reporting, documentation, and vaccine supply management. This is a full-time position with 30 anticipated weekly hours. The typical pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on factors including experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible, based on eligibility, for medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources.
