Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Morrisville, PA

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting in the role, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Depending on state law and required training and certification, Technicians may also support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Technician Immunizers may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and the ability to complete required training on schedule. Physical activities include remaining upright for extended periods, handling and scanning items, reaching, repetitive finger movements, stooping, close visual work, and occasionally lifting or exerting up to 20 pounds. The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $16.50–$25.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography.
