About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often a first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices while providing caring, personalized service and contributing to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technician Immunizers must complete additional licensure and training requirements and may assist with vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, monitoring and reporting adverse reactions, collecting and documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour. Benefits available to eligible part-time colleagues, depending on hours worked and eligibility, include dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
