About The Position

Pharmacy4Humanity, an AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) company, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for its Central Fill Pharmacy. This role is crucial in supporting AHF's mission to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of the ability to pay. The Pharmacy Technician will interact with patients, clients, and customers, offering a friendly and helpful demeanor while handling inquiries, prescription transfers, and grievances. They will act as problem solvers, providing a calming influence in stressful situations and contributing to a positive team environment by being adaptable and flexible. Requirements

Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Ability to present a friendly smile, a helpful voice, and a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls, meeting and greeting patients in the Pharmacy.
Act as problem solvers, providing a "helping hand" and a calming influence to patients in stressful situations.
Present a friendly smile, a helpful voice, and a helpful attitude to patients, clients, and customers.
Assist patients seeking services, information, or requesting to transfer their prescriptions to AHF.
Handle grievances or complaints.
Enhance the experience of other AHF Pharmacy employees by being friendly and helpful.
Offer assistance to colleagues when they need it.
Provide feedback to their manager about how service could be improved.
Adapt to various situations with ease and flexibility.
