About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. The role performs technical duties related to handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency in two or more pharmacy function areas, which may include production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. The position provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The listed work hours are 1200–2230.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
