About The Position

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent Required
• Registered with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy in good standing
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Licensed pharmacy intern

Responsibilities

• Provides essential distributive pharmacy services, support, and assistance to the registered pharmacist in a behavioral health setting.
• Refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems.
• Preparing daily medication carts.
• Repackaging bulk medications.
• Managing pharmacy inventory.
