About The Position

This is a Pharmacy Technician (Level III) position at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role is 100% FTE, full-time, with a day/evening shift schedule from Monday through Friday, 0600-2300, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Hospital experience in unit dose distribution, compounding non-sterile medications including USP<795>, IV admixture including USP<797> and <800>, and automated dispensing machine technology.
Current licensure from the State of Illinois. Candidates without a license may work in this role for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.
Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements, but will need to obtain a “Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation” license from IDFPR.
Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification within two (2) years of date license was first issued.
