About The Position

Onco360 is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for intake and prescription processing at its specialty pharmacy in Scottsdale, Arizona. The technician supports patients, caregivers, providers, and pharmacists throughout the prescription process, helping people living with cancer and rare diseases access needed medications. The role begins onsite for training and then offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with consistent scheduled eight-hour shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Starting pay is $24 per hour and up, plus a quarterly incentive bonus. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to employees who start before December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed or registered pharmacy technician, as required by state law.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA) where required by the state.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, medication brand and generic names, and general pharmacy terminology.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible.
• Intermediate typing and keyboarding skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Create patient profiles and process orders promptly from electronic prescription and fax queues.
• Request refill prescriptions as appropriate.
• Manage incoming documents from the fax server.
• Generate and type prescriptions from orders for pharmacist verification.
• Follow up on outbound prescription transfers.
• Clarify patient demographic and clinical information needed to process prescriptions.
