About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician works in the Inpatient Pharmacy and performs routine technical functions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Duties include preparing patient-specific sterile products and repackaging and labeling products. This is a part-time position with an 8-hour-per-week rotating shift at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Weekend and holiday work is required, according to department needs.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification within one year of the hire date, or current enrollment in a pharmacy school program.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient-specific sterile products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Repackage and label products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Perform routine technical functions in the Inpatient Pharmacy.
