About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After joining, technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Depending on state law and completed training, technicians may provide additional health care services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technicians who obtain Technician Immunizer status may prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction response, and vaccine-supply management duties. This is a full-time position with an anticipated 40-hour workweek. Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, is required. The stated pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour.
