Requirements

Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy Tech intern would be acceptable in lieu of.
Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Support the pharmacist and clinical team by accurately and compliantly executing all technical pharmacy services to promote safe and timely patient care.
Execute precise sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging, adhering to all quality control standards and aseptic techniques.
Ensure medication availability and integrity by maintaining and actively replenishing automated dispensing systems and managing pharmacy inventory.
Act as a critical communication link, triaging incoming calls and providing essential, accurate information to patients and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
