•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace. Once hired, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted until those requirements are met. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may provide additional health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may voluntarily staff offsite clinics. Where permitted, technicians who obtain the required immunizer status may prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients, refer vaccination questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies.
