Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Albany, OR
•$19 - $29•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team environment. Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict the technician’s duties. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Technician immunizers complete additional requirements, educate patients about vaccines, refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. The typical pay range is $19.00–$29.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors such as experience, education, and geography. Eligible benefits may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs, subject to hours worked and eligibility.
