•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. Technicians must complete a company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are satisfied, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Where permitted by law and with the required training and certification, technicians may also provide additional patient health services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics. In states where technician immunizer duties are permitted, responsibilities may include vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referral to the pharmacist, monitoring and reporting adverse reactions, documenting patient information, and managing vaccine supplies.
