About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians work as part of the pharmacy team, follow standard operating procedures and best practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment. After starting, they must complete the company’s training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are satisfied. Technicians may provide additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technicians may obtain Technician Immunizer status after completing applicable licensure and training requirements. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require. This is a part-time role with an anticipated 29 hours per week. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour.
