Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at MSK Westchester. In this role, you’ll support pharmacy operations in a dynamic, patient-centered environment, helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality medication services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of clinic or hospital experience preferred
  • PTCB or NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
  • Experience with Omnicell or automated dispensing systems preferred
  • Able to take on challenges with initiative and minimal direction
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making, even in high-pressure situations
  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively with team members and patients
  • Follows through on commitments with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
  • Triage phone calls promptly and courteously, escalating to the pharmacist when appropriate
  • Maintain pharmacy files, records, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate proficiency with pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology
  • Assist with pharmacy inspections and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, as well as MSK policies and procedures
  • Complete annual competency assessments and support ongoing operational needs
  • Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned to support patient care
