About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in promptly, safely, and accurately filling prescriptions while providing compassionate service to patients and customers. The role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, helping meet medication needs and regulatory compliance standards, and maintaining ethical conduct and patient confidentiality. Pharmacy Technicians work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete CVS Pharmacy’s training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may initially be limited by the manager until those requirements are met. Technicians can continue to develop their clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Valid state pharmacy technician or technician trainee license.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
PTCB National Certification.

Responsibilities
