Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health•Mount Pleasant, SC
•$16 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while delivering caring service. Technicians follow pharmacy workflows, company standard operating procedures, best practices, and effective communication practices, and help foster a safe, inclusive environment. Technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are complete, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict their duties. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, technicians may also provide services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, or staff offsite clinics. In states where Technician Immunizer status is permitted, additional duties may include vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, adverse-reaction monitoring and reporting, patient-information documentation, and vaccine supply management. This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 29. The typical pay range is $16.00–$24.00 per hour; the actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, and geography.
