About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician practices in accordance with laws, regulations, and professional and ethical standards which govern the profession. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. Our Pharmacy Technicians assist our pharmacist in filling prescriptions and helping patients in person or on the phone.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Current State of Idaho Pharmacy Technician license at hire
• Certified Technician license required within 18 months of hire
• Meets established Credentials Committee requirements for Pharmacy Technician scope of practice including fully credentialed, licensed and privileged
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Immunizations for all staff to include an annual influenza vaccine

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred
• Newly hired staff who are not able to be vaccinated due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs must apply for vaccination exemption prior to employment
