About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our Onalaska Clinic Pharmacy. In this role, you’ll work alongside pharmacists to deliver Love + Medicine to our patients. Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is a leading not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin
- Nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or ExCPT), or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, and fill prescriptions
- Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
- Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed
