About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our Onalaska Clinic Pharmacy. In this role, you’ll work alongside pharmacists to deliver Love + Medicine to our patients. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin
  • Nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification (CPhT or ExCPT), or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Work full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, and fill prescriptions
  • Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
  • Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed
