CVS Health•Spartanburg, SC
•$16 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail stores. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. After starting in the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are completed. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, Technicians may also provide services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, and may staff offsite clinics. Technician immunizers complete additional licensure and training and may prepare and administer vaccines under applicable rules. The position requires regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at the home store or other stores in the market as business needs require. The role involves patient interaction, pharmacy workflow and inventory tasks, and physical activities such as standing for extended periods, lifting and handling items, reaching, stooping, and close visual work.
