About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist, under the Pharmacist’s supervision, in the daily operation of the Pharmacy. The role is at Southern Regional Medical Center, a nonprofit, 331-bed full-service hospital serving Clayton County and the southern crescent metro Atlanta communities. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including emergency care, heart and vascular services, advanced imaging, laboratory services, neuroscience, rehabilitation, surgery, wound care, and women’s health.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration, if required by state regulations.
- PTCB or NHA certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire, as applicable to facility-specific requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Graduate of an ASHP-accredited or equivalent pharmacy technician training program preferred.
- 340B program experience preferred if working at a 340B facility.
