About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After joining, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements; duties may be restricted until those requirements are satisfied. Depending on state law and required training or certification, technicians may also support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. A technician who obtains Technician Immunizer status may help prepare and administer vaccines, educate patients, refer vaccination questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour.
