The ATP Pharmacy Technician is responsible for monitoring, filling, and organizing medication dispensing from automated machines, supporting inventory activities, and ensuring the accuracy of patient ExactPacks.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age.
High school diploma /GED required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Passion to help people and enrich their lives

Nice To Haves

If no prior pharmacy experience, must be committed to registering with the Texas Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment.
Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, preferred.

Responsibilities

Process correct bags through the automated machines.
Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.
Responsible for stocking received pharmacy inventory.
Organization of medication shelves and maintain cleanliness of work station.
Ensure station is properly stocked at all times.
Monitor station queues.
Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients.
Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.
