About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient Pharmacy Technician primarily working at our Winona Campus pharmacy. This position will require floating to La Crosse/Onalaska/Holmen/West Salem pharmacy locations based on workload and volume within the Winona Campus. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Registered in Minnesota as a pharmacy technician at time of hire (MNRPhT)
• Must be registered in Wisconsin as a pharmacy technician (WIRPhT) within 3 months of hire
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions
• Compound non-sterile products and manage inventory needs
• Prepare prescriptions for delivery or shipment
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with staffing at other Gundersen pharmacy locations as needed

• Hourly wage: $19.05 + more based on experience, plus extra for evening, weekend and holiday shifts!
• Reimbursed for millage for travel to any other pharmacy locations besides Winona Campus Pharmacy; all travel time to other pharmacy locations will be considered travel & will be compensated.
