CVS Health•Warren, OH

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures, pharmacy workflow practices, and applicable laws and policies, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, technicians must complete the company training program and satisfy registration, licensing, and certification requirements applicable under their State Board of Pharmacy; duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until requirements are met. Depending on state law and training, technicians may also support additional health services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers complete additional training and licensure, educate patients and refer vaccination questions to the Pharmacist-on-duty, monitor and report adverse reactions, collect and document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This role is part-time, with 25 anticipated weekly hours, and requires regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends. The typical pay range is $17.00 per hour.
