About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service to patients and customers. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflows, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting, they must complete the company training program and meet applicable state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties may be restricted by the Pharmacy Manager until those requirements are met. Where permitted, technicians may pursue Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration, patient education and referrals, adverse reaction monitoring and reporting, patient information documentation, and vaccine supply management. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and the ability to complete required training on time. Work involves sustained attention, switching between tasks, customer service, communication, mathematical reasoning, problem resolution, and physical activities such as standing, reaching, lifting, scanning, bagging, and close visual work. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $17.00 per hour.
