About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the London, Ohio area. This is an excellent short-term hospital assignment with a highly respected healthcare facility. If you are an experienced technician looking for a new opportunity, we would love to connect. This is a hospital setting contract for 8-12 weeks, with potential extension. Local candidates are preferred, but travel expenses may be considered for the right candidate. The dress code is black scrubs.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license
- Strong Pyxis experience required
- Experience compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
Nice To Haves
- National certification preferred/required
- Hospital experience preferred
- EPIC experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Refilling and managing Pyxis automation systems
- Compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
- Supporting pharmacy operations and order workflow
- Working collaboratively with pharmacy staff and hospital team
