About The Position

Following established policies and procedures, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, prepares medications, and performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board Pharmacy Practice Sections.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in high school as a junior or senior student.
• Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department.
• Adheres to guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board Pharmacy Practice Sections.
