About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Youth Apprenticeship to join their organization. This is an opportunity to provide customer service and engagement to patients. The role involves classroom training and hands-on experience in a pharmacy setting. The organization, Emplify Health, is a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network formed by the partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System. They operate 11 hospitals and over 100 clinics across multiple states, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and innovative medical education programs.
Requirements
- Completion of 2 years of high school and academic eligibility for youth apprenticeship as per criteria established by high school.
- Completion of Math and English reading competency assessment as administered by Gundersen Pharmacy Technician Education and Training Program personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and effective engagement to patients.
- Provide top-level customer service, creating the best first/last impressions.
- Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers.
