About The Position
Princings Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join their team. This role involves a training program to help trainees earn their licenses through the State of Michigan. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Licensure in the State of Michigan or eligibility for a program
- Knowledge of basic computer programs, pharmacy software, and related technology
- Abide by HIPAA, maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to understand medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- A strong understanding of basic algebraic principles is preferred
Responsibilities
- Select and package prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all guidelines.
- Fill unit dose cards.
- Handle bulk medications like liquids and inhalers with proper labeling.
- Manage compliance packaging.
- Organize patient bags.
- Assist the dailies department.
- Maintain clean and efficient work areas.
- Follow guidance from trainers and managers.
