About The Position

A Pharmacy Technician – Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics on the job classifications below. A Pharmacy Technician - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as a Pharmacy Technician – SRT it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Pharmacy Technician – SRT will work as a part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
